Hitmarker help [SOLVED]
Hi
I changed my old HUD with this one a couple of weeks ago... But there is missing something, my old hitmarker. The updater dont have my old hitmarker and I really want to know how can I edit that file in which are the hitmarkers editable... That file which isn't mentioned on any forum -,- I replaced the font file from the ToonHUD's files and edit it from the updater but the hitmarker isnt centered like how I had it. From E.V.E. hud I had in the updater a feature which allowed me to move the hitmarker where I wanted on the screen... Can somebody tell where I can find that file where are the hitmarkers settings/options? (color, size, character, font file name etc...)

So you are trying to use a font hitmarker with a custom font? And you successfully changed the font already? You can find crosshairs and hitmarkers in
toonhud/resource/ui/HudPlayerHealth.res

I got 50% of what I'm trying to get... But I still cant replace ToonHUD Hitmarkers.ttf with my custom Crosshair/Hitmarker font... What I have to do to replace it? In game I see my selected character, not the wanted hitmarker.... Maybe one day you can add please in the updater an option to add custom crosshair/hitmarker fonts and a xpos/zpos changing system? c: Thanks for help anyways. :)

Well... Now is not working anymore... Every thing is setup how I want it but I dont know why is not working ;__; In ClientScheme.res is every thing how you said to be but this time I cant even see the character for the hitmarker model... Or I'm to retarded to complete this how I want it or this is to hard to do for me. And I dont want my old hud, ToonHUD is much better. Anyways... I wasted our time trying to do this. Maybe you can tell me how do I can change the control points size, I have a square monitor and they are very pixeled, I would like to make them a bit bigger cuz' your custom icons arent visible on official servers. Thank you anyways...

You can't use the updater after you have edited the files manually. Everytime you save overrides, it deletes your toonhud folder from custom folder and copies a new toonhud folder from ToonHUD Updater/data/ folder. Maybe that was the problem?

Control point icons are in resource/ui/ControlPointIcon.res. If you want to change the distance between icons, that's in scripts/hudlayout.res -> HudControlPointIcons

Till' now I changed the color, letter and size before adding the custom font and changing those parts in ClientScheme.res. It was like, edit some things in the updater, save then go in the huds files and continue there... I dont know why is not working.... I dont have it with this kind of codeing. I like coding, I tryed it a few times in Unity, but this, is something strange for me o.O I tried even on http://doodlesstuff.com/?tutorial=tf2hud but no luck. Maybe this will let you know what I have to do. I edited some stuff in the updater, I saved it, then placed my crosshair/hitmarker .ttf file in resource/fonts folder, then I edited those parts from ClientScheme.res, and I checked in game, but there wasnt even some letter to show up when I damaged somebody. And I'm reapeating, I really, really appreciate your wasted time with me!

Have you enabled the font hitmarker? In the updater or in HudPlayerHealth.res

Yes is enabled. After I saw your last comment I tried to do it my self to don't waste your time. But no luck... My last try was like this: I setup the hitmarker from the updater, I checked in game if its working (was working) Then I edited those parts in ClientScheme.res which you told me to edit. I checked in game if its working, and the hitmarker wasn't visible. I think I have to edit somewhere else because maybe is like "missing the original hitmarker .ttf file"

If the hud can't find your font file, it uses Verdana. So it should show the hitmarker anyways. Like this image[i.gyazo.com].

Are you sure that your font has the character you selected? Remember that there's a difference between uppercase and lowercase letters. :)

Oh wow, I feel so dumbass right now... -,- /.\ -.\ -.\ I had to change the labeltext character from uppercase to lowercase. This is the only thing which I didn't tried. -.\ Plus a while ago I made a kind of Space Invaders game in Unity, and when I coded there and the code doesn't worked I was like... Oh yeah, I forgot to uppercase that letter... Thank you so much for you help and time! :D

im trying to transfer my crosshair to another hud have any advice?
