Favourite Industrial Band and why?

It varies for me. I'd listen to Das Ich one day and KMFDM the next. Generally I like Old skool Industrial as opposed to the new stuff the kids call Industrial nowdays.

Primarly it is KMFDM, but as a result of such I love PIG. I feel in love with KMFDM because it is the band my father loves, as a result my thoughs were developed through near constant exposure to love Industrial music.

It's really hard to say. I can tell you my top 5 easy but my absolute favorite, that is tough to say. It would have to be a band(s) that I would have to say that I've stuck with through both highs and lows. One band comes to mind, that would be Ministry. I've followed this band through all their releases and enjoy all their album from the synthpop era to their more developed industrial works to the latest album. I know the latest album from them was a stinker but I still somewhat enjoyed it...to a point.

Skinny Puppy (though my favorite band is NIN). Their 80s stuff is the greatest music ever released, period. Nothing to come since (from any band) has been as innovative. The wall of sound, the noise, the samples, the percussion ... mmmm.

this, their politics, image, stage antics and raw punchy sound are like nothing else, probably one of the most interesting band histories along with TG as well
i love all of their records to be honest, going to be burned at the stake for this but mythmaker is probably the best record they have released since last rights
