Please learn how to submit a scam report rather than telling everyone to "boykott" (wrong spelling there) a certain person.

This is going no where. We are not the price police, we don't force anyone to sell their items for "fair" prices, their items belong to them and they can choose sell them for whatever the they want. We will close trades in extreme situations that are obvious troll trades, but other than that we won't interfere.

I'm locking this thread because these arguements are going in circles.

Here is an example of a shark. A newer user has just uncrated an unusual, for this example, we'll use a burning flames festive tree. Another user comes to that user and says "Hey, nice unusual you got there, it's only worth 1 earbud, but I'll give you 2 earbuds for it, it's a fair deal". The new user doesn't know anything about trading, so he says "Sure". This is sharking because the shark is taking advantage of the other user's lack of trading knowledge and lying to them about their items value. The other examples you have given aren't sharks, they are just cheapskates.

Backpack.tf isn't a bible to live by, it's a suggestion site. They suggest a value on certain items. There is no fixed value for any item in the tf2 universe. There are no "prices" for any items, it's a free market. I can charge 1 refined for one of my unusuals or I could charge 5000 dollars, I have the right to sell my item for whatever I want and there isn't a site that can stop me from doing so. This is an exaggeration, and we'll hide trades that are extremely unreasonable, such as asking 5000 dollars for a lower tier unusual, but I used that example to get my point across.

When trading with paypal, it's best to do so with someone who is trustworthy. Make sure you do background checks on whomever you're trading with. Check their steamrep profile they're not a scammer and or have a caution. It's also a good practice to use a trustworthy middleman, (steamrep has a list of those). When using a middleman, also make sure to check their steamrep as well, many people like to pretend they're certain people (even I've had people pretend to be me). Also, make sure, when being sent the money for your items, that you receive it as a gift to minimize any fees, also, have the other person write a note on the transaction that says that they will not charge you back. Many scammers like to charge back money they've sent to other people.

First off, make sure you are using the word scamming correctly. A scammer is someone who actually steals your item, whether it be lying about giving you money after you trade them a hat in a paypal trade, or running off with gift wrap that you've given them to wrap an untradable item. This instance is called lowballing. Let's not get the two things mixed up.

Secondly, if you no longer wish to receive steam offers, then you can take your trade offer link from out of the settings. That way, you will receive much less trade offers, as that's the way many people like to use the trade offer service.

Third, Outpost won't die because of trade offers. That last sentence isn't really needed.

All of your trades have the same purpose. What you can do is put the random weapon icon to say that you are selling all weapons in your backpack. And as for people who are searching for your weapons, that'll be a small sacrifice you'll have to make. You are trying to evade the rules by advertising your items in more than one trade, these extra trades being for the same purpose.

If you don't feel the need to follow outpost rules, you can feel free to use another site.

Donator/paying customer. Whatever you want to call it, you still receive the same perks as everyone else who gets the same service. You do NOT get additional benefits that sheild you from our rules, and that's something you don't seem to understand. The user in question was banned for breaking the rules, he would have been banned just as I would have been banned if I had been relisting. I've donated much more money than you and a lot of outpost (Keep in mind many donators don't give much more than a key or two). But that doesn't make me, even as a moderator, exempt from the rules of the site.

Now, you can either not relist your items or you can and be banned.

End of arguement.

It is an donation perk, you are just interpreting it the wrong way. We allow users to make more trades with different items. Your interpretation is that you can put anything in those trades, including using your items in more than one trade. Your inpretation is wrong. Make sure you go back and read through our rules. Once again, donators are not above the rules, and neither are mods/admins and even Sneeza.

Our "Thank you" Is letting you auto bump your trades and having you be able to make more trades than a normal user. You shouldn't expect us to get on our hands and knees to give you praise because you donated. We appreciate it, don't get me wrong, but you donated for the rights that were given to you in the description of becoming a premium user.

Also, your real life situation doesn't help your arguement. First off, a land lord has every right to enter your house whenever he/she wants. He owns the house! He has to make sure that you are living in his home to the standard he wants. My land lord just walks into my apparment all the time, and I can't do anything about it because he's checking to see if I'm living in his home to his standards.

Being a donator/premium user doesn't give you the right to break any tf2outpost's rules. They are for everyone. Just because everyone is doing it, doesn't mean you're allowed to.

Here's an example, you claim that you are allowed to make ten trades for one purpose just because everyone else does. But what if everyone starts using and dealing drugs? Since everyone does it, are you allowed to? No, you're not.

If you see a person relisting, don't hesitate to report it. We have 15 mods and 500000+ user. You can't expect us to be able to see and monitor every single user on the site.

Keep in mind, this convorsation is over a small 12 hour ban when the user in question broke the relisting rules.
