Dual boot SteamOS. FAT32 or NTFS?
I just made a second patition on my SSD. Does it need to be NTFS or FAT32?

Sadly was unable to find anything about this. The only thing with FAT32 is the USB but i'm going to install it from a disk not USB.

If it's a partition for steamOS neither, it'll use ext4 or something like that.

If it's a partition for windows, ntfs

Caveat though, I think the installer for steamos deletes everything currently

Wait so with my SSD split for Windows and SteamOS it won't work because SteamOS uses something else then FAT32 and NTFS and second it doesn't mather because it just deletes everything ? bummer.. :/

SteamOS appears to use EXT4 from what I can tell (haven't got it running, but have seen it do the formatting) but do NOT attempt to dual boot this in it's current state - the automated installer (and the 'expert mode' installer) are prescripted to use the entire disk of whatever drive you point it at.

At this stage, it WILL wipe the entire drive.

Do NOT attempt to dual boot at this stage unless you are familiar with linux boot configuration and EFI setup. Period.
