Happy Birthday though, I hope you have a good one! :)
Supposing that wuld happen, what sort of gift would you feel is low enough a value to be gifted, or do you think some sort of measure should be put into place to stop that, like only active accounts that had at least a year of service got gifts?
From what I've noticed...most forums and community groups send automated "Happy Birthday" emails to users. That should be sufficient enough if anything.
I get plenty of free booster packs and coupons from them all year around,
A PM saying happy birthday from my close steam friends makes my day much better than free gifts.
I think a booster pack would be a good option. I've never gotten one just randomly
Your badges? Yeah that'd be a good idea
How about a free day of play for one of the games on your wishlist?
