PuBg is alright, but they're money greedy af.

I don't know whats R6S, but in my opinion, Battle Royale is that under-rated genre of game now that just grabs your money. Only the best professionals get good at it, i don't really see the point of Battle Royale because i don't like it myself. It grabs your money, right after that you lose, but you have that adrenaline rush and pay more money thinking you can do better, and repeat. Pixels, don't mean life or death.

Although if you want a cold hard opinion, i would choose Pubg. It's the least money-grabbing game in the category. You can win and get good without getting clothing or whatever, i don't have the game but i bought a good loadout early only for 5$

Apart from being a well designed shooter, R6S is very much active with content every season and balancing/fixes, with 10yrs of planned dev cycle and roadmap.
