Why cant you block users on forums?

Its ridiculous, it encourages flames and harrassment...
What's the point in blocking someone from communication if they can stalk troll you on forums and look at your profile history like this little ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ phreya who keeps responding to everyone of my opinions on every forum I post on for almost a year now.

Why in the F do I have to see this obnoxious pos's posts when I blocked him months ago? Why does he get to look up my profile history? Why is it I can't block the lil @$$hat on the forums?

FB did it, many other forums do it, whats up with steam?

And I don't wanna hear that you might miss something garbage excuse, I don't care to see hater garbage.

I really am convinced they wanna see flames, arguments, debates, so the mods/admins can filter out which users can talk and which users might be to much of a problem for their selfish violent agendas.

It dont make a bit of sense that someone can get harrassed, stalked, attacked on any forum just because the offender can look into your post history and then attack you. And reporting only works on certain forums... So why not eliminate reports and drama and just allow us to fully block certain users?

Whats the point of a block of messaging or friend adding, that makes no sense either I mean that's not even usually where the conflict starts.

Reporting works here as well.

Blocking communication has nothing to do with their ability to view your post entries.

For the most part, ignore and report such behavior.

They can and will respond to reports when they do get the chance to do so.

Justification doesn't have anything to do with what tools you have and the reliability of them.

Action is not instantaneous.
