Error setting up.
Trying to set it up and after I saved parsers I go to preview I click on generate List I get " Please shutdown Steam if it is running".

Steam is closed and I even make sure it is closed off in task manager and try it again in steam rom manager and I still keep getting the same message of closing steam even though it is already closed.

Event Log:
Parser test is completed.
All available image urls retrieved.
Executing parsers.
Please shutdown Steam if it is running.

"Please shutdown Steam if it is Running" is not a error message . It's just a reminder .
Then why does it keep poping up even after steam has been shutdown even after it is confirmed to be shutdown in task manager? It will not get passed that point.

Because it's a reminder , the reminder will always be there regardless of if you have steam open or not. You must have another issue that is making your SRM not work properly. You can join our discord and post your Parser and Log there . You can also post it right here and I will help. Thanks

I was having an issue. Im using retroarch and SRM. The parser seems to work fine, the games are loaded into my library but when I click to play them I get a brief message (.5sec) and then nothing. The game wont load.
Also in retroarch the sound of the game is not right, like its running at half speed. The game works fine, just the sound is unusual.
thanks in advance for any help.

I'm having the exact same problem. You've had a year to fix it. :steamhappy: Any advice that you can still remember?

to be honest I haven't used it much lately and now that steam redid their look SRM isnt working anymore the way it was before. But to answer your question I think I reinstalled retroarch and started over. that seemed to fix whatever I had messed up.

Sono - we updated SRM to work with the new Steam UI. SRM is completely up and running now with Steam.
