Keyboard Shortcuts for Steam Music?

I've been using my multimedia buttons on my keyboard for Steam Music but nothing is happening. Any ideas on what I can do to get them to function with Steam Music instead of having to open up the overlay and manually skip or pause a song?

No offense, but how come there's no comments or anything saying the thing you have made works and is awesome? Because this is definitely a feature anyone who uses Steam Music would want and there's no feedback on it. Looks kind of suspicious. No video even of you showing how to use it either.

No worries, that's a fair point :) I did post this here too. I may create a video tomorrow but the source code is also available so programmers are free to examine and build the code themselves.

Do not click keyboardP links he is a phisher - level 0 private account.

Open up big picture mode and go into settings>music> and you can enable multimedia keys there.

Sorry, that's quite an accusation but, with respect, it's complete rubbish. I'm a developer[stackoverflow.com] who uses the name keyboardP online. It would be stupid of me to use my usual alias if I was a phisher. On top of that, I provide the source code for anyone to look through and build themselves. Got any actual evidence of phishing? I appreciate the concern, and completely agree that people should be cautious online, but with the source code being available, I don't really how else to prove it's just a normal app.

I'm just trying to help people use keyboard shortcuts, as I created it for myself and figured I'd share it, but feel free to not use it.

Haha thanks Seahorse Raiser, the irony was palpable but I figured it was best not to poke the dragon :D (I'm level 4 anyway). I guess I've been reported as a phisher.... :O haha

Theres no real need as you can just go in big picture mode and navigate fairly easily from there.
