Album Artist Sorting

I'd like to see better sorting support for this.
When I sort by artist the albums get split up because they feature different artist, but they have the same album artist in the metadata.

So simply having Album Artist sorting added as an option would fix this. Genre sorting would be nice too.

Also a Album Art Grid like view would be cool; Like the game library has.

Because the info in the MP3 say so. I got 2 MP3 in a album with bad labing and I found them as different albums.

I know the, metadata is label correctly for all my songs, they just happen to have diffrent artist for the same album. I'd rather not redo all my files metadata just so I can have an organized libary in steam when I could just use Foobar.

The solution is if Steam read the label of the album to find the artist isteand of the song label.

This is really an issue for albums with the album artist as "Various". You end up with a whole collection of albums under the artist name "Various", but there aren't any songs because no individual song has "Various" as an artist.

3.5 years later and this issue still exists, which makes me simply not use Steam Music:

Improvements to be made:
- Give us the option to sort by "AlbumArtist"
- Treat the individual artists listed in the tags properly: ID3 tags support several artists per file. If you right click an mp3 file in Windows and go to properties - details, then you can see a list of artists such as "Artist 1; Artist 2". These are in fact multiple instances of the ID3 ARTIST property. Some music player are able to handle this and give you separate entries for both artists. But in Steam Music this is displayed as a single entry "Artist 1 Artist ", which is a bug.
