Unable to find or download songs and albums
I have multiple albums that I've purchased years ago, though they don't show up in my steam library when I want to download or play them. They're not somewhere in my computer files, since I've never downloaded them.

I used to play steam games on an old computer (Windows 7). Around 2019 I got a new computer (Windows 10) so I'd have more space to play games. However, when I redownloaded steam on this new computer, I couldn't find my games or albums on it. I've tracked down most of the games that I've used to have (though I think there might be some free steam games that I had that were probably lost), though that couldn't happen for my music.

I've tried to purchase the albums again (it says I've already purchased them), scanning and verifying files (doesn't work, probably because I never had the files on this my computer). I've already deleted steam on my old computer (along with a purge of most other things on there), so I can't transfer it over to this one.

According to my purchasing history, I had the both Hatoful Boyfriend soundtracks and Natural - Beyond Nature. I already have all the games downloaded.

I've only started this thread now, since I have a horrible habit of leaving things along for months or years at a time and I guess I've finally become annoyed enough to ask for help about this. Any ideas on what to do?

Just in case you were still stuck, see if this helps:

If you click the button highlighted by the rectangle you'll get the option to display Soundtracks etc. Tick the checkbox.

If the icon highlighted by the circle is blue then that means only installed Games/Soundtracks etc will be displayed. Click it to change that.

I never have that toggled on. However, it still doesn't show the soundtracks I've bought.

Looks like those soundtracks (at least for Natural - only one I checked) are not set up as standalone soundtracks within Steam but as DLC. These don't show up in the Library.

Try this: Right-click the game in Steam Library > Properties > DLC
Does it list the soundtracks there? If so, have it ticked and install the game.

This is a note from the About This Content section from Natural - Beyond Nature - Original Ending Theme DLC

Note: The files can be found by right-clicking Natural - Beyond Nature - > Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files

Scroll down from this link https://store.steampowered.com/app/585160/Natural__Beyond_Nature__Original_Ending_Theme/ and you'll see where I quoted from.

Steam should be able to scan your PC and find the music files for you once they are downloaded.

Browse Steam's music player:
View > Music > Browse Music (six squares icon to right of volume icon)
That should show albums/tracks that Steam has found on your system. If you click the + icon next to Albums, it'll open the settings page where you can configure things, start a scan for tracks etc. (Another way to get to that settings page: View > Settings > Music).
