Need help getting Titanfall 1 working under Steam

Proton does not start the game at all, same issue with Jedi Fallen Order.

I had to use Lutris and the windows version of Steam to get it.. Sort of working.

Problem was, I didn't know disabling VSync would break performance and even after clearing my settings the issue persisted so I reinstalled.

After reinstall, game no longer works. Steam starts, Origin starts, then Origin crashes.

Titanfall 2 works just fine although I do not launch it from steam because I bought it before its Steam re-release.
