Already installed Windows game on Proton?
I had copied a few Windows games from C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common directory to my /home/(user)/.steam/debian-installation/steamapps/common directory. For some reason, however, they don't show in the game library as installed. I exit and restart Steam, nothing. Is there any fix for this? I don't want to install the games through my internet as it is horrendously slow.

Just to make sure, but under Steam Settings - Steam Play, have you ticked "Enable Steam Play for all other titles"?

Yep, I did that, and I installed a smaller sized game to test it, since it wasn't showing in my library. Steam Play is enabled but the games won't display.

Even when you properly download it? That's weird. I never had a problem with that, but I'm on the Beta branch pretty much since the release of Proton.

Those files existing isn't the same as the games being installed. It's just not how it works.
However, if you tell Steam to install the game after copying the files into the right place, it should validate the existing files and skip the download.

Yes, I knew it was a matter of that, but to be clear, I had clicked install and it hadn't validated it, it installed the whole game.
