Sorry, no idea then, hopefully it’s just a new bug that will get fixed soon.
Try beta branch now.
thanks so much, from me and my sister, we both tried this and we can now hear each other again! ( We still have one other issue, on another post -- flashing, must invite her to watch), but this helped with the no sound perfectly!
No audio in broadcast unless i check to record audio from all applications
which is fine, i am not normally talking, except then you hear steam notifications and such.
I know it used to work.
Thought it was my PC, till we tested it on like every PC we had handy and same result regardless of who was broadcasting.
Since the beta seemed to work for XxVhiixX, maybe it will roll out to public soon.
Is a little annoying to run beta cause it updates constantly..
I wonder when this issue started, and why there are not more complaints about it
I know some people broadcast all the time, unless they all do it via open broadcast via RTMP?
I suppose that is possible, i dont generally broadcast to the general public, usually just to show a friend something.
Remote play and steam link/stream play is totally fine, just the broadcasting is messed up a bit.
Oh well, at least I can stop contemplating dismantling my PC.
I thought it was odd that i could stream to discord fine
