watching CS:GO, using optical out to my DAC. Can hear other PC sounds fine. apart from chat with my friend, there's no 'Steam-anything' in my volume mixer and even that is all the way maxed out
running on Windows 8.1
**EDIT** rechecked, the broadcast is on the volume mixer, sound is maxed there. Sound is also maxed in the broadcast window.
**EDIT 2** right clicked on the video frame and pulled up stats. Audio bytes Decoded: 0B
so maybe he isn't transmitting audio?
Of course, I would rather not do this, as I play with headphones, and I do not wish to experience ear damage. :p
My speakers were set to 24 bit, 192000 Hz (Studio Quality)
Lowering it to 16 bit, 48000 Hz (DVD Quality) seemed to correct the issue.
Soon as i did that change, everything worked fine.
Confirmed this fixed it for me
