Twitch recommends following bitrates per resolution. note that you can run lower rates as well but quality would be pretty bad.
(divide kbit/s by 1024 to get Mbit/s)
1080p: 3000-3500 kb/s
720p: 1800-2500 kb/s
480p: 900-1200 kb/s
360p: 600-800 kb/s
240p: Up to 500 kb/s
600kbit/s is good for me and the quality is not that bad (in 360p). I dont want to be a "big streamer", I just want to stream to my friends to show them something or to show them my problems so they can help me. A livestream is better than words, pics or videos.
Isn't it ♥♥♥♥? Might be wrong, but I would not enjoy it.
