Broadcast Not Working - Extremely Unacceptable

So let me start, this is an ongoing issue which has not been resolved. So, when I watch someone's broadcast, it flat out does not work. It works only 30 percent of the time. What is the end result? I missed watching NUMEROUS games from friends because of the broken feature of steam broadcast.

Look. I don't know how this works, whether the streamer is sending a video feed to steams terrible servers and then relaying it to me, but whatever it is doing, it flat out DOES NOT WORK. There are NUMEROUS ways of getting this working. This isn't something that "having glitches" has leeway. THIS IS LIVE AND HAS TO WORK IMMEDIETLY!

Here are some ideas for the "lazy steam developers" to take into account:

1. Have it so that the person (who has a bad connection or bad computer) can at the very least, record it as a video file within the Steam API, and then have the file uploaded onto a cloud server where I can watch it later on. This is an asynchronous solution but still better than nothing.
2. Have better relays servers that can transcode better.
3. Stop disabling the stream when you launch the game. Stop disabling the stream if I watch the stream from a chrome browser and the steam client itself. Stop obsessing over "saving bandwidth" because having 4 streams of the same thing is still better than the service cutting off the video and having no stream at all.
4. Write the software better so that it doesn't encode then re encode then transcodes the video stream. Whatever encoding is used, it DOES NOT WORK!
5. Collaborate with Discord and use their streaming solution within Steams API.
6. Stop being lazy and rework the entire streaming API for steam.

I am extremely angry and frustrated that I couldn't watch my friend playing a game online. This is not the first time this has happened, and it has been ongoing for YEARS. This only became a hundred percent worse with being able to right click the user and watch the stream within the terrible transcoding feature which becomes far less reliable than to use the classic streaming window if someone invites you, which STILL does not work if the streamer has a bad connection.

So Steam Developers: STOP BEING LAZY AND FIX YOUR ♥♥♥♥!
