Does he tried to watch you by using the chat windows or this web page ?
https://steamcommunity.com/?subsection=broadcasts
if it was trought this page, and if he is using w10+ and the last steam client, ask him to set "gpu acceleration" to on.
I think what he does is use the dropdown menu on my profile from the friends list, should he use broadcast page instead?
So checking if his GPU acceleration is on would be the solution I should try?
Also there's another topic here saying without acceleration the broadcasts do not show currently.
Or a browser instead can be used for watching
I'll see if browser version does anything different, I just find it weird that this only happens with VR as normal games stream perfectly
Ask him what methode has been used so
if he used the solution i pointed from the web link, then ask him to set "gpu acceleration' to on and it will solve his issue.
IF he used the pulled down menu from the chat client , no clue i never tryed this case but it worked with old steam with "gpu acceleration" set to off watching or beeing watch
Yes if he use the link and you have to use stream to be acceccible by anyone, not only your friend but not really sur as i never used this function : in my steam i have set it to "friends can watch" so i do not bother to have to click anything to let them watch me playing any game, easier i think.
