Keep in mind, Steam does record and keep videos usually on their Steam servers that are used for broadcasting, the closest ones are picked to do so..
Which is what the "report broadcast" feature does. Sends the broadcast as a recording to Steam for review.
In the Steam settings. -
Be sure to keep in mind, to never forget to remove that option in the broadcast settings for recording all applications on your PC.
Because you might not want others to see everything, including the desktop, at all times.
Good way around this, have a folder open to cover the desktop, or hide your desktop icons.
They will also see everything else you do on the desktop, when broadcasting.
When you uncheck this option, it should only broadcast your games.
To know more about what is seen when the option is unchecked while broadcasting, check out the broadcasting FAQ.
Be sure to optimize the settings for all users under the broadcast settings.
After all, it's what they see, not what you see.
Though, letting Steam Tech know in the feedback is a good option as well to help them modify the broadcasting to work with other apps.
