Why is Viewers in chat window always 0
Do they ever plan to make it so we can see who is in our stream?

Yeah, I noticed too a few days ago... and the stream chat hasn't worked properly for years now. I hasn't showed the name of who's joining your stream for years now.

Yeah, now it doesn't even show when you're Broadcasting in your profile. I messaged support and they basically gave me a copy paste of "we can't do anything"

That's just a generic response. They don't care about steam broadcasting

Well, if somebody opens your broadcast without being logged into a steam account, then it will be 0 viewers and nobody will appear in the list. From what I have seen, everything works as intended when a steam user watches your broadcast.
The only bug I encountered so far: if a non-steam user activates your broadcast, it will not stop even if he leaves.

Def doesn't i have people talk in my chat. They all say it also shows 0 and doesn't say names of who is watching.

Now that I was in your broadcast, I understand what you mean. It shows viewers under the broadcast, but not in the viewer list. I usually don't have people using chat when they watch me, so I did not notice the difference in numbers in there.
I also noticed a few days ago that broadcasts do not show up in the profile any more. I really hope this gets fixed soon.

I've been using steam broadcast since it launched.... it has mostly gone downhill, with the sole exception that you now can watch a friends stream in the chat window (so you don't occupy the whole steam client).

The most annoying thing that has disappeared is join notices in the broadcasters stream chat (in steam overlay of the one who streams).

So you have NO chance of knowing who's just joined your stream... is it a stranger, is it a friend? Which friend....

Yeah, it's really annoying. I see people join in and out and have no idea who it is or how they found my stream.

Exactly... frustrating.
