Green screen for broadcasts in Steam client.

Hey guys!
A couple of Steam client updates ago, I started experiencing weird problem with watching broadcasts: a Green Screen.

Literally, every Steam broadcast I'm trying to watch turns into green screen just several seconds after it starts. Often (not always), closing broadcast window and reopening it helps, but doing that each time is immensely irritating. Watching broadcasts through web browser seems fine, so I relate the problem to Steam client.

Latest mentions of similar problem I can google seems to be several years old, and do not contain any solutions or reasons for this to happen.

So, anyone else have this?
If you had any chance to solve it, please share your experience. Thank you!

I was having the same issue, couldn't find a solution and it was happening for at least over a week.
Every time I opened a broadcast, it turned into a green screen. If I waited a long time it eventually loaded but extremely I was behind in the broadcast and it was very laggy, unstable and sometimes unwatchable.
It recently now started working again for me.. out of the blue..

I had this same problem & while it hasn't happened again I did find a sort of temporary solution. If you hit the "15 back" button then switch back to live it should go back to normal. I know it's not a solid solution, but it at least gets the stream moving again. Hope this helps!

Alright, just for update: disabling hardware acceleration seems to solve the issue.

I have this problem also when the green screen comes up just click on the green screen and broadcast will begin that works for me

At least for me uninstalling geforce experience fixed this.
