Live Dev Stream In-Steam Store Page
For the first time ever I noticed that if the in-store steam page has a dev doing live steam or something when you visit the game's page. There is a little box that show up with the broadcast by itself.

HOW do you turn that feature off because I don't want to see a broadcast. If I wanted to I would go to video/broadcast tab of community. Thank you very much.

Adding a new preference setting to allow you to opt-out of seeing any broadcasts embedded in Steam product page.

You can make the change in account preferences.

I've started having this problem as well with a couple of games, can't figure out how to turn it off. I don't want to be automatically spammed with streams when I'm looking at buying a game. It's intrusive and off-putting, too much like forced marketing which makes me less interested in buying it. I would love to know how to turn that off.

I cannot express to you in words how off-putting it was for it to be enabled as a default with no explanation as to how to remove it. I seriously thought something was wrong and that my security settings were out the window and that I had a problem.

While I am pleased that the account preferences has an option to disable this, I suggest that it is presented more prominently because I had to find it myself and had even considered setting the steam client temp folder to read only mode to see if I could stop it, before considering that maybe it was a preference everyone was opted into that could be opted out of.

It is not logical to have to confirm/validate that something I didn't have before is something I do not want now, but I can understand that corporations often take the approach that if you don't opt people in, then they won't. Everyone wants to force opt-out.

I never thought that'd even boil down to games, but... now you know my sentiment.

Thank you for including the means to opt-out of that. Please consider allowing for such preference controls for other similar features in the future.

Thank you soo much, i've been looking for this option for long time. Shop get freeze, everything is going down and you missclick, mini-broadcast cover "next button" on discover queue... I hope it will be off forefer!
