Dark Souls: problema frame rate
Dopo essere passata a windows 10 ho riscontrato dei problemi quando gioco a Dark Souls.
In certi momenti il frame rate cala terribilmente, impedendomi proprio di giocare. In luoghi come La Città Infame diventa ingestibile, anche contro Sif, mi è impossibile combatterlo. Ho provato a installare Nvidia GeForce Experience per aggiornare i driver e ho aggiunto la mod per Dark Souls che ne sistemava la qualità, ecc. All'inizio mi ha ingannatto, il gioco appare più fluido ma nei soliti momenti il frame rate cala terribilmente diventando ingestibile e oltre tutto si disconnette dalla modalità online dicendomi che il frame rate è troppo basso..

Intanto prova a fare così, visto che è un problema noto.

1) Pannello di controllo NVIDIA.
2) Impostazioni 3D ==> Gestisci le impostazioni 3D ==> Impostazioni programma.
3) Da "Seleziona un programma da personalizzare" seleziona Dark Souls.
4) Setta "Modalità di gestione dell'alimentazione" su "Preferisci le prestazioni massime".
5) Applica.

Intato ho fatto quello che mi ha Khanattila ma la situazione non è cambiata e ho impostato anche il sistema alle massime prestazioni.

E pensare che ci ho giocato 100 ore indisturbata prima... D:

vedi se il portatile è in modalità risparmio batteria o cose del genere (probabilmente no ma vale la pena di dare un'occhiata)

sbloccare il framerate pesa sulla CPU, probabilmente la tua (che non è il top del top) fa fatica con quell'impostazione; come succedeva a me con la mia vecchia cpu, città infame e sif rendono il tutto troppo pesante; quindi intanto, alleggerisci un po' il carico generale facendo questo (ridurrà risoluzione e grafica ma ti farà guadagnare un minimo di prestazione)

controlla intanto se così la situazione migliora un po'; alla peggio disattivi lo sblocco del frameraate (che immagino non avessi, quando ti riferisci alle 100 ore passate indisturbate?)

Sì mi riferisco a prima che passassi a wind 10 e mettessi la mod (e la misi per cercare di risolvere i problemi che erano nati quando ho cambiato sistema operativo), comunque ora proverò.

alla peggio, non sblocchi il framerate, o lo tieni bloccato soltanto per sif/città infame (e magari baratro dell'abisso)

Ora, con queste impostazioni, riesco a combattere Sif, quindi penso che il problema sia risolto. Anche se la grafica ne ha risentito parecchio >.<

allora pian piano, al posto di 640 x 480, prova a metter 800 x 600, e così via
