Will there be any possibility of HL2 episodes now that HL2 uses the Ep2 engine?

when i try to use the giveall command i don't receive any weapons, and it says it's null(for example:Null:entity_flare)

This mod is what chuck norris plays.

Since I've installed Half-Life 2 from scratch *after* the update, my half-life 2 content.gcf doesn't contain the old maps. GCFScape just says the file is incomplete (even after I've grabbed Source SDK Base). Is there a fix to get the completed file?

Hi there, I have been enjoying your mod for a few years and been working on one smod-based mod of my own as well. I have encountered a massive bug on d2_prison_06 however, as it seems to be looking for textures unique to this map that does not exist. Apparently, this problem seems to be universal with the 215 version of the engine on this specific map as it happens in all mods using it.

Maybe the update screwed something up for just me, but I would like to hear from others as well.

There's a fix on the site. it works 100% fine if you get the fix.

i dont understand, why valve, why!? i go by an old sayign that says if it ain't broken don't fix it. half life 2 wasn't broken, and the update was unneccessary. not to mention my computer runs the old engine much better. and you just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ made something i gave you money for totally unplayable. and if it really was necessary to you, why not jsut give people the choice. don't just change it without even giving your loyal fans a choice!!!

The new hl2 update to improve things for mac ruined my smod redux, is there a solution? The first thing im going to do is a fresh install.

One thing I want is a way to disable the "money" thing (it can get a little anoying)

But the soy beans are supposed to heal you when you eat them and damage the enemies you throw it on.
Its also from the original Smod.

I have some ideas. Onemanshow, if you liked it, please, relase it next version of SMOD Redux
-add FN SCAR-L(it will have only one shooting mod(burst)
-give back UZI
-change the model of OICW to model from REDUX 6.1
-add incedary ammo(it will ignite enemies)
-add Chainsaw ^_^
-change the model of Lasergun
-remove the soybeans(i think it is uselles but maybe i am not right)

In a new addon or skin,could you add another sniper?Like a bolt action sniper or Barret 50 cal?

css sci fi 3 is the "best" smod since it has the most stuff and looks good etc. but smod: tactical is the real best being superfun and all.

Hello Oneman, I was wondering If I could bring a little publicity to SMOD: Redux. I was planning on making a video showing all of the weapons in the game (Along with minor gameplay AND the weapons from the Addon Pack), But I wouldn't dare do this without approval. Filefront sucks so hard sometimes. :(

I tried several different times to reupload the file to Filefront, but it still just comes up with the "File not Available" error or the archive gets corrupted. I'm looking into alternative hosting for it until Filefront gets the issue sorted.

it says its never been on filefront ( version 8 ) yet the addon pack has

Redownload the file from the new link. It should be properly fixed now as it didn't change to the new link on the front page before.

Like IrishBandit says,I too am missing sounds.Sounds for the Mp40 fireing and the SVD firing.
