Hey all I remember the months and months and possibly years ago I used to play on this server... the only reason I stopped was because my computer couldnt handle the game... It still cant, but I remember taking to Shine and possibly I remember applying for admin.

You can connect by searching Unofficial from the server list and then searching for RIV4LS, you can connect directly by loading a web browser and navigating to steam://connect/167.114.210.229:19016 and launching the game selecting 'steam client bootstrapper', or going to 'VIEW' in the top left corner of the steam window and selecting servers> favorites tab and adding the ip 167.114.210.229:19016.

i havent played in a while, how do i join the server?

We now have custom loot drops (beacons). Everything 'useful' is in the loot table and no garbage. I have balanced this towards the rest of the servers settings to where it is short of being 'overpowered' yet should still be 100% contested, even white drops have special items in them that could be valuable at any level.

The drops also contain just enough to provide an alternative method of farming materials. (S+ Industrial Grinder is set to return 50% resources)

Added SE engrams, S+ Mod, an Egg an Poop collector, heavily modified the mods allowed engram list to be non redundant and pertinent to the server. Cave flying enabled, diseases die with players and c4/remote engrams have been disabled. Mods may change over time or between wipes, for instance once we add a real SE server to the Cluster, there will no longer be a need for a Mod to add these engrams in.

We decided it best that people raid with rockets and grenades and use strategy rather than strapping c4 to 400% pters and breaking game mechanics with no counterplay. Platform mounted Rocket Turrets and Water MINES are perfect for blasting your way inside someones underwater cubby. :)

And on that topic, its my hope that server wipes only need happen at most every 3 months, but that will be something that has to be played out to see when its needed. A majority vote of this community can always sway things in one direction or the other.

Soft-launching the server tonight. This is primarily for testers but all group members are welcome to join in. If things are all working as intended the server should officially launch tomorrow night or the next.

Please be sure to read the updated rules and info page pinned to this groups forum, as well as checking out the announcement for admins/testers/modders for any that fall into this category.

Server will be up tomorrow on new hardware and under a new IP, I have attempted to update all of the information concerning it in the rules, info and under a new announcement that I ask all take a moment to read for clarficiation.

Updating to official branch, should be all good now.
