So sad that you are gone...

We closed down a month or so ago, buddy. Definitively, it was due to lack of finance to be able to keep the place running. People just kept on breaking and stealing stuff, having no respect for the property. The owner also wanted out and had difficulty finding any takers, due to the market for gaming lounges being quite unknown and not very well respected. It is also hard to sell to interested parties when half the crap was broken, and fixing up the place would not be worth the income.

Alienware has just launched 100 public servers under the alienware banner. Next week another 100 will go live. At the moment they are for CSS, CoD4, CoD5, L4D, L4D2 and TF2. Next month they will expand to include BF1942, BF2142, BFV and AvP. They will hopefully be able to host BF Heroes and Bad Company 2.

Alienware will also be running a competition on conjunction. It will be CoD4, probably pro mod. The initial rounds will be played online with the finals in Sydney. The prize will be one Alienware Aurora gaming rig for each team member (5) valued at $25,000!
