We are currently in open recruitment for The Elder Scrolls: Online, where we are looking to hit about 60 members total. We are looking primarily for experienced PvP'ers with a healthy interest in dying a glorious death on the fields of battle where you will be remembered not for the name you wore but the deeds you've done and the banner you fought under. As a guild, our primary focus is open world roam and smallman/smallgroup play. We will participate in large scale sieges as we come across them, but we won't actively be organizing them this time around. We will also be exploring raidable content and PvE objectives but do not expect any server firsts from us in that regard.

For prospective members that have been directed here, this IS our official web page and is used for primary announcements that cannot be made in game as well as event planning that cannot be made in game, as well as staying in contact out of game.

Our recruitment philosphy is that there three types of players: The good, the uninformed, and the stupid. You can teach an uninformed player how to be a good player, but there is no fixing stupid. With that said, there will be a mild try out consisting of myself, Rashim, and the rest of the officers evaluating your skill. We look for:

-The ability to play your role correctly and efficiently
-The ability to follow directions with haste and without objection in open PvP
-How well you bring value and additional knowledge to our overall PvP activities.
-A personality that meshes well with the guild culture.


During this try out, you will be added to the guild as a Supplicant. Upon completion, should we accept you fully into our ranks, you will be bumped to the first member rank and made a part of the Corpse Crew. The try out phase is expected to last 2 weeks. Anyone with pre existing experience in Dark Age of Camelot will definitely get some bonus points in my book when looking at recruitment.

Hail all ye Bloodthirsty,

I am proud to announce that [RVR] will officially be playing The Elder Scrolls Online. We originally were going to skip this one, but after the latest beta phases we decided we couldn't pass up such ridiculously fun PVP.

The PvP in ESO operates much like Dark Age of Camelot - far more than Guild Wars 2 ever did. The map is gignatic (it is literally Cyrodil, the entire map from Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion). The spacing on objectives is excellent. And most importantly, due to the size of the map and the way in which you can move around it, this game fully supports small man roaming group play.

This will also represent an idealogical shift for us. I no longer have the time or patience to lead massive sieges or coordinate these massive assaults that we have become known for. Will [RVR] own real estate in ESO? How could we not? But we will no longer be a Large guild, officially downscaling to a Medium size to fully support small man roaming group play and get back into what we all know and love: PvP! Our days of Man versus Door are over.

Remember that if you do not want to play the Ebonheart races (Dark Elf, Nord, Lizardman), you will need to pre-order the game - pre ordering gives you a special bonus that allows you to play any race on any faction.

We're currently looking for someone with art talent who can draw our guild emblem in thumbnail and banner formats for use in such things as Twitter, Steam, game forums, etc. We haven't had an actual rendition of the emblem drawn out since the Warhammer days, and sadly that was lost to time (and bad webhosting!).

Greetings all ye who bay for blood!

It is the last 48 hours for the kickstarter campaign for Camelot Unchained, and it is amazingly close! I beg of you to read up on it and donate ATLEAST $25 for it. It is an amazing deal for an amazing idea, and you basically get it for half off! It is a subscription based game, but they are aiming for old school sub prices.

This game is being led by the amazing Mark Jacobs, the brain child behind DaoC and WAR (even though war was a big upset, it was still the most fun I've had in a game in a LONG time).
