Razer Kraken Pro: the volume is to damn loud!

well the tittle explains it already for it self but it is just really loud in my ears. i have to put the sound on almost lowest otherwhise my ears bleed. is there a way to change the sound of the headset?

i fixed it! i did put the EQ to -9 on everything!
everything is fine!
still feel free to reply and if you are having the same problem just open up Razer Synapse 2.0 and go to EQ and put it down to your own level.

the bass is really low when i play video games and i cant change the settings of the headset D: someone help me!

I have the same problem. I have to turn down the headset's volume to a value of about 4 (out of 100) on my Windows 7 system. Doing so turns the system sound level down to that value too. So I cannot make use of the full range of volume my system supports. I have no idea what I am supposed to do to turn down just the Kraken headset volume all by itself so that I can turn my system sound level up to a more normal level. Setting the EQ level down does not help all that much. I have Kraken 7.1

Even setting the volume to 0 I can still faintly hear sound. Something is very wrong with these headphones.

Any help?

seemed like putting down the EQ didn't really work, the quality of the sound gets kinda shitty. what you should do is just put the volume lower for all games, windows itself, etc.

GUYS turn down your system sound but keep the headphones the same in the mixer

To anyone experiencing this problem i have a solution for you! i have had this problem for months now and had no idea how to fix it. the problem is that razers default settings for the kraken are autistic so you have to change them yourself. the presets in this video make the kraken far superior to its default settings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2P9Wqg-iDpk
