Razer Naga Epic Disconnect Issues
So, I'm playing league of legends and the mouse icon suddenly freezes in place for no reason. This happened twice or three times already in one day. Please assist on this issue. It'll be most grateful of you.

I hate to bring up an old post however, I know this problem is universal with all Naga Epic's only when using Synapse 2.0. If you close synapse 2.0 the mouse will not have any problems, with synapse 2.0 running however this mouse is unstable in wireless mode.

I have given up caring about this on my Naga, I just keep it in wired mode. Razer won't admit it is a problem with synapse 2.0 or something they need to fix in the firmware. If anyone has the same problem mention it here so Razer will eventually acknowledge this problem so that it can be fixed.
I've experienced the exact same problem ever since I bought the Razer Naga Epic 2 weeks ago but it also happens for me outside the game(League of legends).
I use the 3.03 leagacy drivers, however when I did use the mouse with Synapse 2.0 the problem occured way more often. The only way to solve the problem temporarily is to unplug the USB cord and plug it back in, but it will occur again, sadly.

Is there still no fix for this?

I have experienced exactly the same issue, and connecting the mouse in wired mode seems to be the only way to avoid the problem at the moment. It seems that we have to wait until Razer recognizes this problem and fix it. Until then, my naga epic will have to stay wired...
In anyways it's still a nice mouse though. I really hope If I could use it wireless...

nope no fix, I have had razer say it could be a problem with the wire or the mouse and offer an exchange (though this is the third mouse all with same problem). Problem is synapse 2.0 compatability with naga epic wirelessly. Razer won't acknowledge this....
I just got my first replacement after sending the first one back for the same disconnect issues. We'll see how this goes...
the only way you can fix it i found out is by unplugging and replugging the usb, which is very annoying, but good thing the tower is next to me so, it's fine.

I found the problem with mine after much testing and one replacement mouse. The USB 3.0 hard drive on my desk was causing interference with the 2.4 GHz wireless frequency. It is a known problem in some circles, but it sure as hell never made it to the gaming community until recently.

I moved my USB 3.0 hard drive about five feet away from the Naga Epic dock and haven't lost connectivity in two days.

Onfortunately, I bought Razer Naga Epic too and have the same problem as you guys. BUT, my mouse does disconnect in any mode (Wire AND wireless). This problem occurs about every 2-10 minutes and I'm really tired of all this. I closed Synapse (v2.0) and it still occurs. Can anyone help me before I throw it up?
uninstall synapses and i'll guarantee you that it'll run with no more disconnects, if you're using usb that is.

Same problem here.
Same here as well. The problem with uninstalling synapses is that you will loose the ability to adjust the DPI on the fly, something I use frequently. So that's not really an option for me. What's the point in having a mouse with a ton of features you can't use? lol

What I've found is that if I lift the mouse up off the desktop (at least 6" away), and put it back down, it then immediately starts working again. This makes me wonder if it's not a software or firmware, but hardware-related problem. Perhaps something to do with the proximity to the receiver? I'm going to experiment a little and see if I can figure this out.

Almost a year and still no fix... I just purchased my razer naga epic. Synapses 2.0 only works when i have my mouse in wireless mode. Synapses 2.0 doesn't see my mouse when i am using it in wired mode.
Ok, everyone! I believe I have figured out what the issue is, for me anyways. I would urge you to try this out and report back after a couple weeks to see if there's been any change.

Previously, I had the receiver/dock sitting very close to my mouse pad, so the mouse was always within about 10" or less of the receiver. Ever since I moved the receiver to the other side (above the left side of my keyboard), I have not had a single problem with the mouse! It has not lost connection or anything! It has simply just worked perfectly ever since. After the first week, I thought it might just be a coincidence, but it's been nearly 3 weeks and no issues, what-so-ever.

So guys and gals, try moving your receiver/dock further away from the mouse. 12" or more, if you can. It appears, thus far, and at least for me, that this is all that was needed to solve this issue.

Post up and let us know if this works for you.

Good luck. :)

I have an update guys!!! When i use the mouse in a USB 3.0 slot, Synapses 2.0 works if i'm using the mouse in wired or wireless mode!! And its never drops connection!! I also did as the MECZero suggested and moved the receiver further away from my mouse.
I just got my razer naga epic and experienced this issue on day 1. It not only sometimes randomly disconnects but also there is an extreme ammount of delay when changing the settings in synapse
