Then add a single modified profile (that doesnt point to any .exe) and see if it shuts down and restarts with the selected profile on shutdown still the active profile after restart. I'd then try it with the 1 new modified profile that points to a specific game .exe and see if it behaves itself on reboot. Then keep adding profiles one at a time...
If worst come to worst i'd remove and reinstall the Synapse software, if this doesnt work i'd try forcing a default profile to load by having the default profile point (its exe) at something that runs on startup.. e.g. steam.exe. This could be your issue actually, you have multiple profiles that point at different exes that run on startup, hence if things boot up in differing orders the last exe run durning the boot thats liked to a profile will be active... hence why it looks like a random profile is being selected?
I tried reinstall etc.
None of my profile are linked to an .exe.
Also, the "switching" happens a little while after windows started up. I noticed that Synapse is only available 2 minutes or so after boot, when it "synchronizes" (or not, if in offline mode).
I find this baffling and not convinient at all. I have to wait all that time to be able to switch profiles. Any clue? Thanks (Anansi mmo keyboard on windows 7 64)
