New Razer Naga Epic goes to sleep and won't wake up
Santa brought me an new Razer Naga Epic mouse. It's fantastic! However I have a problem with it being unresponsive after a cold start, and also with it going to sleep after a few hours of non-use only to find it impossible to wake up.

Getting it working again involves 5 to 10 minutes of clicking buttons and repeatedly unplugging and plugging it into different USB ports.

Today I used it wirelessly for several hours starting with a full battery charge, then put it down for a few hours. I come back this evening and the mouse is unresponsive, and it's the same thing all over again--5 to 10 minutes of clicking buttons and repeatedly unplugging and plugging it into different USB ports until it wakes up. This time Synapse 2.0 shows the battery as being in the red. Whaaaat??

I've been talking to customer support and they suggested I update the firmware for both mouse and dock, which I did, but the problem remains, but now customer service is no longer responding, so I'm posting here? What to do? I'm using it under Windows 7 64bit. Any suggestions before I return it to Best Buy?

Still not sure if my Razor Naga Epic is working properly, but one thing I've learned is how astonishingly short the battery life is. My previous wireless mouse, a Logitec, would run 3-6 months on a single pair of AA batteries, while the Razor can't even manage a few hours.

I have the Molten Edition Naga, have the same problem of it being non-responsive. Sometimes I wait for a bit and it will come online, other times you have to restart your CPU.

Mine is finally behaving now. It seems to be very particular about which USB port it's plugged into. It's working wirelessly too, with decent battery life. I think part of it is learning how to manage it with the doc, etc. I was however disappointed to refer to the documentation and see that what's the "on/off" switch on mine mouse is labeled "Wireless" and "Wired/Charging" in the documentation.

A similar discrepancy occurred when the support tech person told me how to perform the firmware upgrade only to be contradicted by the firmware upgrade software itself.
