SWTOR keyboard issues FIXED
My issues: blacked out logo screen (wallpaper for the UI) some of the 10 buttons werent working (gmail, twitter macro button etc) some times the keyboard buttons would stick as if they were held down etc.....

Fixes id tried: USB2, USB3, USB3 from pci card, re installing synapse, new profiles for the keyboard, removing my mamba and nostromo (other razer products) and having to reinstall grumble grumble

after all was said and done it was Internet explorer this whole time, ive gone back to firefox as default no probs afterwards :D so UPDATE IE TO FIX RAZER SWTOR KEYBOARD ISSUES

Raxer got back to me with a rather large list of possible fixes. Id already tried some mentioned above....however there was more....

For simple troubleshooting on the SWTOR Gaming Keyboard SwitchBlade UI, please make sure of the following stuff:
- Use the USB 2.0 slot at the back of the tower, not USB 3.0, and make sure the USB is powered, as in directly connected to the motherboard.
- Make sure the Adobe Flash is fully updated
- Set Internet Explorer as the default browser for your computer
- This might not be related to you, but SWTOR Gaming Keyboard only works with Windows, Mac OS X compatibility is not guaranteed

Now we need to try some troubleshooting steps for us to be able to understand this issue better and please reply to me the result as well.

First, try to create a new profile from Synapse and delete the old profile and set the new profile as default. NOTE: You may need to re assigned back the macros key.

If the issue persist then follow next steps. Your computer may need the latest of these updates.

Please make sure you have updated with latest Firmware as well. The link is here :
http://www.razersupport.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=view&parentcategoryid=283&pcid=269&nav=0,77,269

Please make sure you have run any/all windows updates and are running the latest version of Internet Explorer 9. Follow the directions here: Adobe Flash and Microsoft.NET may be outdated as well, please run the installer provided here:

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=24872

Once completed, restart your PC. Now test the SWTOR Gaming Keyboard again.

For testing follow the application guides here:
http://www.razerzone.com/switchblade-ui

If it is still not working, we will need to reset Internet Explorer to default settings, please do the following:

-Launch Internet Explorer
-Click on the Tools, go to Internet Options
-Go to the Advanced tab
-Click Reset
-Follow the prompts to reset Internet Explorer

Once completed, restart your PC. Now test the SWTOR Gaming Keyboard again.

If the issue persists please do the following;

Action : Firmware Update/Re-flash

*Please make sure that the keyboard is unplugged during this time. use a different keyboard in the mean time

a) Download the SWTOR keyboard firmware updater from http://www.razersupport.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=1150&nav=0,209,224 and run it.
b) Press and hold on DK5 key (Clock icon) & plug it into the USB port
c) The computer should detect the device as Razer Bootloader Mode
d) Synapse should automatically prompt you for the firmware updates
e) Proceed with entire updates & restart the computer once done
f) Check if the problem is fixed

Once completed, restart your PC. Now test the SWTOR Gaming Keyboard again.

If the issue persists, then issue might also be related to the corruption of the Synapse 2.0 software.

To try and fix this, please attempt the following:

1. Close Synapse 2.0.
2. Terminate the RzSynapse.exe process from Task Manager
3. Uninstall Razer Synapse 2.0
4. Restart the computer.
5. Go to http://www.razerzone.com/software-support and download a new installation of Synapse 2.0
6. Reinstall Synapse 2.0 by rightclicking on the icon and choose 'Run as Admin', and let the Synapse 2.0 update.
7. Then restart the computer again.

After completing the steps above your Synapse 2.0 should be able to update normally. If it is still unable to do please check your firewall settings and make sure that Synapse 2.0 is not blocked. If you still have issues after completing the steps above please let me know and I will proceed to the next step in order to help you resolve your issue.

after all was said and done it was Internet explorer this whole time, ive gone back to firefox as default no probs afterwards :D so UPDATE IE TO FIX RAZER SWTOR KEYBOARD ISSUES
