Edit: this is like the dumbest fix ever that has actually worked.
Funny enough I just noticed how everything was working fine as I was playing a game, then even watched a bit of a movie before I decided to stop it and watch something else. I pretty much lost the sound right away after I stopped the movie. I think your theory is correct. I'm going to have to keep my media player on 0 volume with a song on repeat from now on.
i have officially spent a full 24 hours trying everything i can think of, for certian systems and setups this program is just plain broken. i do have a bit of knowledge as well as i used to work in a computer repair store. Trial and error, NOTHING has worked .i can get as far as it will play 7.1 throughout the calibration then no sound till i uninstall or disable the razor virtual driver, its infuriating. i finallly just said fuck it im going to buy a 7.1 headset... But definitly not a razor product.
Huh? I noticed it the other way around. The 'virtual' driver/slider moving with the noice, but my other playback devices, my TV, Headphones, and so on will have no sound playing, so no sounds to 'emulate', even tho it is emulating it, just we can't hear it for some reason.
