7 Days to Die Ravenhearst Mod Install Guide

Ravenhearst for those not great with computers

1. start Steam

2. right click on 7 Days to Die in your library and click uninstall, wait for it to complete.

3. right click on 7 Days to Die in your library and click properties at bottom of popup menu

4. click on Betas in left list menu in the window that pops up

5. open dropdown menu that says "select the beta you would like to opt into:"

6. find and select "alpha19.2 -Alpha 19.2 Stable"

7. close window and make sure 7 Days to Die has [alpha19.2] beside its name in your list on left side of your library window in Steam

8. right click on 7 Days to Die in your library and click install, or hit install button where play would be on game page, wait for it to complete

9. right click on 7 Days to Die in your library, mouse over manage in popup menu and select "browse local files" in drop down menu

10. go up 1 level by hitting up arrow beside the address bar in the menu bar or hit common in address bar

11. right click the folder labeled "7 Days to Die" and select copy

12. make a folder (and name it) where ever you desire to locate your Ravenhearst modded version of the game, preferrably on a different drive from where steam intalls or on desktop for easy access or deletion when needed

13. open said folder, right click in empty area and select paste

14. once done, leave folder open so you can drop files onto folder inside labeled "7 Days to Die"

15. use this link: https://gitlab.com/jaxteller718/rh_72_client/-/archive/master/rh_72_client-master.zip to download a zip file of Ravenheast mod files, you may need to copy/paste link into preferred browser

16. locate and open zip file (usually goes to Downloads folder by default) and drop contents onto 7 Days to Die folder outlined in step 12

17. click "Replace the files in the destination" when the popup window appears during file extraction/transfer

18. open the 7 Days to Die folder and locate 7dLauncher.exe with a 7 Days to Die icon (it may not say .exe on end)

19. right click and select "Create shortcut" in the popup menu

20. drag the created shortcut "7dLauncher.exe - Shortcut" onto desktop and rename it what you want, to know it's for the Ravenhearst modded version of 7 Days to Die

21. use the shortcut outlined in previous step

22. uncheck "Use GameSparks" and uncheck "Use EasyAnticheat (EAC)"

23. hit "Run" and enjoy. do not hit "Run & Save as default"

24. repeat steps 21 to 23 to start the game anytime you wish to play the Ravenhearst mod
