I noticed that you guys added the Toy Story 3 video game in it, which at first would make sense, but actually the PlayStation 2 version is a completely different game from the Steam release (both were made by different teams: the PS2/PSP version was made by Asobo Studio, while the PS3/X360/Wii/Steam version was made by Avalanche Software).

Oh also I noticed that these games aren't on here, might be cool to add them to the list:
- TY the Tasmanian Tiger 2 + 3
- Asterix & Obelix XXL 2
- Heavy Weapon (was in a PS2 compilation with Zuma)
- Chicken Little + Back in Action
- The GTA games (GTA3, Vice City, San Andreas)
- Lego Indiana Jones
- NiGHTS into Dreams...
- Tales of Symphonia (there was a PS2 release exclusive to Japan)
- Worms Ultimate Mayhem (remake of Worms 4 & Worms 3D's campain)

I've removed Toy Story 3. I had no idea and appreciate the correction.

Also added the rest, except for the GTA games. Unfortunately they were pulled from Steam so people would buy the recent remake trilogy.

Ah yes, good point. I just saw GTA San Andreas in my Steam library so I thought of the trilogy games, kinda forgot they were pulled from the store. The store pages are still up, but are impossible to buy now...

Just found three other PS2 games to add (not really an expert in these games):
- Final Fantasy XI: Ultimate Collection Seekers Edition (seems to be the game + all its expansions, which all also released back on PS2)
- Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age (remaster that also includes the Japan-only "International Zodiac Job System" from back on PS2)
- Mafia: Definitive Edition (remake of Mafia 1)

EDIT: There's also these 3 games (I should try making a list before posting, instead of always having to make new posts or edit posts xD):
- Clannad
- MDK2 HD (remake)
- Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition (remake; the original did release on PS2 exclusively in Europe and Japan)

I also don't really know if "Risk: Global Domination" on Steam is the same as the PlayStation 2 version, but if it is, then it should be added too.

Thanks! Added the Final Fantasy games. Also not an expert on those.

I opted not to add the Mafia remake, since the original is available. My current plan is to only add the remake/remaster if it's the only version on Steam. Open to suggestions, but I think that makes sense.

I think personally it would be fair to add them, since it's still a PlayStation 2 game, even if remade. Also I just edited my earlier message like 5 minutes ago to add more games before I saw you responded, just thought I'd mention in case!

The people have spoken! Added Mafia, Clannad, MDK 2 HD, and Age of Empires II.

I also came across Risk: Global Domination, but I don't *think* it's the same as the PS2 version. However, I'll do more research to confirm.

How are you finding these, by the way?

Mostly by checking the "Classic", "Nostalgia" and "Retro" tags on Steam, looking at games that seems like they'd be on PS2 (or Xbox/GameCube since same era), and then check on Wikipedia/GameFAQs/online if said Steam game was ever on PS2. The first post with the suggestions though was from my own library and wishlist though, so those ones I didn't have to search a ton.

Good call. I've kind of been going the opposite direction -- looking at lists of PS2 games and then checking Steam. It'd be cool if this was easier, but it's been a fun project. Thanks for the ongoing help!

No problem, it's indeed pretty fun to find out just how many classic PS2 games are actually on Steam. I'm personally more of a GameCube and Xbox guy, but I still really love the PS2! (and tbh most of the PS2 games did release on those platforms too)

Oh also, two more games to add! Haven't played them though:
- Escape from Monkey Island
- Disney's G-Force (according to Wikipedia, PS2's G-Force is the same as Steam's, since both were made by the same developers. Just saying since sometimes Disney licensed games can be pretty different between versions, like Ratatouille for example who has 4 different versions)

Haha, that's really nice of you to say, but I kinda doubt I would do that personally.

Oh also those two don't yet have Steam pages, but don't forget to add Persona 3 Portable and the Resident Evil 4 remake when they do get listed!

It would be better to replace Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz HD with Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania since the latter is a remake/remaster of Super Monkey Ball Deluxe (which was available on PS2). Banana Blitz was a Wii game.

Also, I wanted to say I really like this curator :D I didn't know some of this games were on Steam.
