[ALERT] Now there is a cracked version of CS:GO

Hello! A friend told me that the game is cracked and uploaded on one of the biggest Bulgarian torrent trackers.

Without downloading the game I found the only one cracked server of the game and joined successful in it with my legal copy of CS:GO - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=209476549

My question to CS:GO developers is: What you will do to prevent the cracked and legal players to play the game in a cracked server?

I can provide the cracked version and server IP if you need it to fix this "problem".

Did you contact Steam Support about this already?

Did you find this server via (community) server browser or how did you connect to the server?
I hope they remove all cracked servers from community server browser on CS:GO.. The reason I quit playing Counter-Strike and Counter-Strike: Source was that their server browser is full of cracked servers and I can't find a normal server to play on.

EDIT: Connected to the server to check it out and saw a player who only owns "spacewar" on Steam playing in that server.
All players had Steam account who were connected but they all were playing spacewar on Steam instead of CS:GO.

Cracked server which requires Steam to play on.. Strange.
And they somehow use spacewar to bypass not owning the game itself.

The support can't help us. Only CS:GO devs can fix that.

The players in-game are using Steam, but playing the game "Spacewar" as CS:GO. All that I know for Spacewar is that this game is a Steamworks Test App, so for me this explains a lot why we have cracked game at the moment.

Better do not provide links or names of the tracker, if you do that better send it to support directly, not post it openly on forums. I am sure that isn't the only place where it's found in too.

Must be fun playing CS:GO cracked. Because we don't get enough cheaters in the official version, am I right ? =D

calm down guys, I doubt they can play on sv_pure 1 servers with the cracked version ( on official valve servers ), community servers can have sv_pure 0 which allows a lot of stuff to happen. This was the case in 1.6 aswell. So don't worry, it won't affect MM as far as I know ( I could be wrong ).

The server mentioned in this thread is sv_pure 1, if I remember correctly.
The sv_pure has nothing to do with cracked or normal server.

And I doubt they can connect to MM servers, we (overwatchers) would have seen much much more cheaters by now if they could.
In the older games you need a special server to allow cracked clients to connect to it and I would assume its the same for CS:GO as well.

Hi,actually because of no-creditcard-but-i-still-want-to-play-cs-cuz-im-pro Kids hackers started creating those ''cracked versions of CS.'' The main differences are 3:
1 Cannot add friend,see friend activity and related
2 Can ONLY join cracked servers,legal CSGO Owners can join both legal and cracked ones
3 Most Important:Cheaters. Because of the ''cracked'' servers and account are not supported by valve,VAC Cannot ban those accounts so the 90% Of the players there cheats silently thinking they have a ''vac proof'' Hack,while it just cant ban them. Fortunatelly if you bought CSGO And play on normal servers Most of the cheaters get banned by VAC or the Overwatch so is kinda safe.

IMPORTANT:Cracked servers have nothing to do with sv_pure 1,cracked servers are specifically made to allow cracked clients to join.

His profile says that he wants to trade CS:GO Steam gift and you can see that he has CS:GO gift in his inventory so I doubt he is trading/linking to cracked version.

For the record, I played with and against people that when you open his Steam Profile it says that he doesn't belong to the Steam Community, so there's a cracked version that you can play in a Competitive Matchmaking of Steam.

They are not set up their Steam Community profiles. Thit not mean that they use cracked CS:GO. You won't know that if their Community profile is not created.
