Hardest difficulty you guys can play with a mouse?

What is the hardest difficulty you guys can play with a mouse and is getting a tablet necessary to be a good osu player as a mouse looks to limit your hand movement in comparison. This may be an obvious question to some but i only just started and was interested in finding out.

Edit: Also if you use mouse is it considered cheating to use the keyboard to instead of clicking with the mouse?

wtf? how's 4.7* bad? If anything, thats fast. Be proud of yourself. Anyway, for me, I just recently barepassed a 6.66* (Caramel Heaven mapped by SukiNathan, Skystar's caramel diff)

I was playing with the mouse for like 2.5 years and got 2700pp total. Best play was ~160pp on unlimitation angelhoney ~6 stars, 91% acc. Yes i know, not FC or sth. Best FC was random TV Size for about 150pp and bunch of DT. Anyway playing Osu! (especially jumpy maps) is 100x times harder wit h the mouse. And they can say whatever. After 2.5 years with mouse i played like 2 months with tablet and had 3700pp. 1/3 more in 1/15 overall time. After 4 months and less playing in 2 last ones i have 4100pp and looking forward to progress, whereas i was stuck on 2700pp with mouse with lack of significant progress for a year.
Tablet > Mouse for everyone except Doomsday ;v

I play with a 1000 DPI mouse and i can play maximum 5.5*

Between 5* and 6*, using 800 DPI and 1,02 without raw input in osu! (disabled mouse acceleration ofc). But I also move my mouse with my wrist, not my forearm and I´m only a rather decent osu! player, so.... https://osu.ppy.sh/u/4163542
