Hardest difficulty you guys can play with a mouse?

What is the hardest difficulty you guys can play with a mouse and is getting a tablet necessary to be a good osu player as a mouse looks to limit your hand movement in comparison. This may be an obvious question to some but i only just started and was interested in finding out.

Edit: Also if you use mouse is it considered cheating to use the keyboard to instead of clicking with the mouse?

i can play 3 star maps with mouse and 8 star maps with tablet

actually made me check and wow I didn't realize I have a 7* star map pass with mouse (and it's not Airman or Immortal Flame) ... meanwhile I can barely FC 5 stars lel

I'm rank 3k and i play with a mouse. I can pass 7* maps, aiming isn't really harder than with a tablet but some jump angles are harder with mouse, and there's a thing called mouse drift. Tablet is easier to learn, that's basically what makes tablets more popular, but that doesn't mean you can't get far with a mouse.

Passed Airman once. And it depends on what you want to use. Some jumps are harder on mouse, some are easier on the tablet.

Im pretty sure Doomsday is a mouse player and he passed some 7-8* maps with itm also talala was a mouse player until 13k rank
