Hand Health
Hey guys

osu! player for 3 years, but brand new to this forum, I didn't know it existed lol

I was wondering what you guys do in regards to hand health. About a year ago, I started experiencing pains, strain, and cramps in both of my hands after playing for about an hour. I have looked up some hand stretches and exercises to do before, during, and after playing, but i was curious to see what you guys do.

Thought this would be a good first post on here, as well as a good guide for old and new players alike.

Don't overextend yourself too much. Even though you may have X pp as your top play, playing under that and becoming more consistant will not only help you in the long run, but is just generally healthier. As an example, On my profile[osu.ppy.sh] my 230pp-250pp plays are much denser than my top plays.

When I feel that my wrist is on fire I would usually take a break, sometimes I switch to a different game mode if I don't feel like taking a break.

I use these hand streches before playing https://www.reddit.com/r/osugame/comments/39h3zy/dr_levi_mega_thread/ plus a warm up
