Borderlands GOTY Enhanced - strange crash :(
Hi guys! I'm looking for some help with a weird crash I get every time i run BL GOTY Enhanced from Nucleus.
First of all: I already played it for several hours on steam and it ran perfectly on high video settings, so I'm 100% sure that my PC can handle it easily.
My setup: 16GB ram, ryzen7 1700, gtx 1070.
Now I'd like to use Nucleus again (as I already did for the standard BL GOTY) to get the coop achievements, so I updated it to the last v2.3.2 and installed the GOTY Enhanced Handler.
Every time I ran the game through nucleus in 2 split screen and entered the main menu with both the instances, I got a crash after like 10 seconds with the following log:
Log: === Critical error: === General protection fault! History: GMatrix2D::Swap() Address = 0x50a68d3 (filename not found) [in D:\Giochi\_nucleuscoop\NucleusApp\content\Borderlands GOTY Enhanced\Instance0\Binaries\Win64\borderlandsgoty.exe] GMatrix2D::Swap() Address = 0x5073d5d (filename not found) [in D:\Giochi\_nucleuscoop\NucleusApp\content\Borderlands GOTY Enhanced\Instance0\Binaries\Win64\borderlandsgoty.exe] GetPluginCount() Address = 0x59f8d88 (filename not found) [in D:\Giochi\_nucleuscoop\NucleusApp\content\Borderlands GOTY Enhanced\Instance0\Binaries\Win64\borderlandsgoty.exe] GThread::OnExit() Address = 0x615dab6 (filename not found) [in D:\Giochi\_nucleuscoop\NucleusApp\content\Borderlands GOTY Enhanced\Instance0\Binaries\Win64\borderlandsgoty.exe] GMatrix2D::Swap() Address = 0x50d7497 (filename not found) [in D:\Giochi\_nucleuscoop\NucleusApp\content\Borderlands GOTY Enhanced\Instance0\Binaries\Win64\borderlandsgoty.exe] GMatrix2D::Swap() Address = 0x50d71a3 (filename not found) [in D:\Giochi\_nucleuscoop\NucleusApp\content\Borderlands GOTY Enhanced\Instance0\Binaries\Win64\borderlandsgoty.exe] GetStackOwnerClass() Address = 0x52e447b (filename not found) [in D:\Giochi\_nucleuscoop\NucleusApp\content\Borderlands GOTY Enhanced\Instance0\Binaries\Win64\borderlandsgoty.exe] GetStackOwnerClass() Address = 0x52e40d8 (filename not found) [in D:\Giochi\_nucleuscoop\NucleusApp\content\Borderlands GOTY Enhanced\Instance0\Binaries\Win64\borderlandsgoty.exe] GetStackOwnerClass() Address = 0x52c815f (filename not found) [in D:\Giochi\_nucleuscoop\NucleusApp\content\Borderlands GOTY Enhanced\Instance0\Binaries\Win64\borderlandsgoty.exe] GetOutermost() Address = 0x5165bf8 (filename not found) [in D:\Giochi\_nucleuscoop\NucleusApp\content\Borderlands GOTY Enhanced\Instance0\Binaries\Win64\borderlandsgoty.exe] GetPluginCount() Address = 0x5647b86 (filename not found) [in D:\Giochi\_nucleuscoop\NucleusApp\content\Borderlands GOTY Enhanced\Instance0\Binaries\Win64\borderlandsgoty.exe] GetPluginCount() Address = 0x561aadb (filename not found) [in D:\Giochi\_nucleuscoop\NucleusApp\content\Borderlands GOTY Enhanced\Instance0\Binaries\Win64\borderlandsgoty.exe] GThread::OnExit() Address = 0x61d3e17 (filename not found) [in D:\Giochi\_nucleuscoop\NucleusApp\content\Borderlands GOTY Enhanced\Instance0\Binaries\Win64\borderlandsgoty.exe] GThread::OnExit() Address = 0x61cef1c (filename not found) [in D:\Giochi\_nucleuscoop\NucleusApp\content\Borderlands GOTY Enhanced\Instance0\Binaries\Win64\borderlandsgoty.exe] GThread::OnExit() Address = 0x61d687d (filename not found) [in D:\Giochi\_nucleuscoop\NucleusApp\content\Borderlands GOTY Enhanced\Instance0\Binaries\Win64\borderlandsgoty.exe] GColor::SetHSV() Address = 0x67284d7 (filename not found) [in D:\Giochi\_nucleuscoop\NucleusApp\content\Borderlands GOTY Enhanced\Instance0\Binaries\Win64\borderlandsgoty.exe] BaseThreadInitThunk() Address = 0xbfe97374 (filename not found) [in C:\Windows\System32\KERNEL32.DLL] RtlUserThreadStart() Address = 0xbffdcc91 (filename not found) [in C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll] RtlUserThreadStart() Address = 0xbffdcc91 (filename not found) [in C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll]

So I tried to disable the windows firewall and still got the error. Suspecting of a video performance thing, I first tried to run one single instance (same result), to lower the video settings to the lowest possible, to update my gpu drivers, to edit the video settings even in the config files but still no luck.
Another test I did (to exclude any issue with the nucleus update): I tried to run a double instance of the old BL GOTY, and it went perfect.
So at this point I think it's something with the nuclues settings or the game handler, but I really don't know what to look at exactly.

Has anyone have some ideas eventually please?

Happens to you even in older Nucleus versions? is your game installed in your main drive in Steam default install path?

Uhmm I can't remember if I tried to downgrade Nucleus, I'll give It a chance anyway as soon as I'll be back at home. And no, Steam Is installed in my main drive while the game Is on another drive (as I set a different default install Path on Steam)

Thank you! If I tried the downgrade probably it was a recent version anyway cause I just tried the 2.2.1 and it actually works fine! I wonder what it was changed in the 2.3.x.
However I was not able to get the co-op achievements unfortunately - I killed my 2nd character in the coliseum and it's still locked.
