All sound data, needs documentation.
Download undocumented data[mega.nz]

Steam hates mega. Here's the mega tag /#!GVJCTbTR!BXCIUkkwu7INniWTH3brkklw7JrozkRGyvxC9LFLxZE just put mega.nz in front of that.

I'm going to be going through this myself, starting from the English(US) folder, trying to document all the sounds I can and place them in context.

For instance:

vo_plffff_626 : 9S Screaming Insane [C]

This follows the format

filename : description [Routes]

Any help would be much appreciated. I'll update this post as I translate them.

It goes without saying, I have zero knowledge of Japanese so I can't do that folder at all.

It should be noted that this has NO sound data from cpk archives, that includes:

data002.cpk
data005.cpk
data006.cpk
data010.cpk
data012.cpk
data015.cpk
data016.cpk

Thanks to Atvaark for pointing that out.

Thanks a ton to Vertor for extracting the core files

I looked through the files when the tools came out and thought about organizing the sounds myself(though in a very vague manner) but there were so many. You guys are incredibly dedicated for even attempting it lol. What's your end goal? An organized and uploaded zip file?

If anyone could help by sorting through all the grunts and moans that'd be plenty helpful. I think about 10% of all the files are voice lines and the rest is just ughs and aghs. I can upload those I haven't sorted myself

That would be nice yeah, a spreadsheet would be better though.

I'll take this on. I have no problem doing the grunts and moans ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

My apologies to both of you, I haven't had much time to be going through everything.

It's all good, I've been busy myself playing games. :^)
Anyway I've sorted about 600 and named about half of those. It was pretty easy until I got to the vo_plffff's that's just a cluster of 9S, 2B, A2 and random YoRHa soldiers lines

Here's about half of what I've got left. [mega.nz] Just put the groans in one folder and voice lines in the other

It's supposed to be all sound data in the game.

That includes sfx

ARGH THIS IS KILLING ME! Are you guys genuises or something? How on earth do you get the menu sounds out from data002.cpk?
Unpacking this gives you a whole load of .dat and .dt files and 0 .bnk
And unpacking these .dat files has been impossible for me lately! Been at it for three hours now!

1. Download the pre-build tools:
http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?p=128850#p128850
http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?p=128883#p128883
http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?p=128926#p128926
2. Extract the cpk file
3. Extract the core.dat file (optional)
4. Extract all sound files from the core.dat file to wem via nier-sound-extractor.exe
5. Convert the wem files to ogg/mp3/wav
