If it matters, I do have nearly 70 mods installed, which is my first guess for what the problem could be

Without actually knowing what the problem is, I can only give you a general idea.

1. Check your latest 'tes3mp-client' file in your 'Documents\My Games\OpenMW' folder and make sure what you have matches what the server has.
2. Check for issues in your 'pluginlist.json' file located in your 'mp-stuff\data' folder. Typing errors are common.
3. Open the 'openmw.cfg' file in your 'Documents\My Games\OpenMW' folder and make sure the content order matches the mod order in your 'pluginlist.json' file.

I've tried all of this, and I can't find the problem. The log just shows around 100 instances of

[2018-04-26 06:34:47] [INFO]: Called function "OnRequestPluginList"

Followed by

[2018-04-26 06:34:47] [INFO]: Called function "OnServerExit"
[2018-04-26 06:34:47] [ERR]: [Script]: false

Any ideas?
