Can't connect to my own server

So, I just made my own server. I didn't need to port-forward anything because I already use the port 25565 for my Minecraft server. Also for the port I have it on TCP/UDP. When I run the server it says the ping is unreachable and I can't connect because the option is grayed out. I'm thinking it's because of the port, but it doesn't make sense to me because I have to correct port already.

Well, I just did and I just tried that, but when I load in it says, "We have been disconnected." I see that I'm definitely connecting to my own server because it says so in the log.

Make sure you have the same password set in tes3mp-client-default.cfg as you do in tes3mp-server-default.cfg

Just did that. Still not working. I'm able to connect to other servers, but it still says my own server is unreachable. For the port do I need to set it for TCP and UDP or just one of them?

UDP.

You can always connect to your own server.

Can you give me your client and server config files so I can look at them?

Did you try following the suggestions that David provided above?

If it still doesn't work, join TES3MP Discord server and desribe your issue in #technical_help.
