Server Crashing upon entering game
Me and my friends server is crashing whenever we enter the game on our characters.
I am actually almost certain I know the problem (There is Cell Data missing/corrupt/etc.) I just do not know how to fix it.

The crash does not occur when we start a new character, but starts crashing when either of us log on to our characters located in the same corrupted cell.
(Our Characters are located in the far north, west of Dagon's Fall. We are basically right out side of Vas (A location for one of the fighters guild quests) )

The error is pretty easy to spot, it is located near the bottom and has the report to developer tags on it.
Here is the server crash logs!

Thanks!

EDIT: I would also like to mention that this is the TES3MP V 0.7.0

Hi there. It looks like there's some invalid data in exterior cell 1, 22. Can you please find the file "1, 22.json" in mp-stuff\data\cell and put it on Pastebin for me?

Unfortunatley, we just bit the bullet and restarted. I will see if he still has the files though for the sake of troubleshooting

Restarting over something as small as that wasn't worth it. Ah well.

I believe I'm having the same issue, but I'm not sure where to get my crash logs to verify that. Should I start a new thread?

You don't need to start a new thread.

The location of the crash logs is mentioned in the FAQ.

Okay, I found two files that both have the same date, one server side and the other client side.

Here's the links:

server: https://pastebin.com/8vjdhhuf
client: https://pastebin.com/JaPUUFLu

If you need more info, let me know! I'd love to be able to play this latest version soon

You seem to have a different problem that no one has reported before: your list of explored exterior cells somehow has an unreadable value in it.

Can you explain the context? Do you have map exploration set to be per player or shared across players? Have you ever modified your mapExplored table manually?
kungfuManda Jan 14, 2019 @ 8:33pm
I actually didn't set anything with map exploration myself, but I think I understand why it did that now.

We were playing on a previous version (0.6.0), and I read somewhere you overwrite the original tes3mp folder with the new 0.7.0 install to update it and keep the player data.

I should have figured that could cause problems... but saving the player data and deleting the old folder fixed it luckily

Appreciate the timely responses though, really enjoying your teams work :)

Hey there! Can anyone assist me with a corrupt cell? Our server crashes when any of us login to our characters

`[2020-12-08 21:45:33] [ERR]: [Script]: Could not load cell/2, 0.json using Lua CJSON due to improperly formatted JSON! Error:.\server\lib\lua\jsonInterface.lua:62: Expected the end but found invalid token at character 3168cell/2, 0.json is being read via the slower dkjson instead.`

The JSON is valid per online JSON validators, but the server claims the last character in the file is improperly formatted

No, the error you're showing isn't even significant. Try copy-pasting the last line in the server log instead.

Never noticed a notification to you reply. We ended up fixing this by modifying the players location in the json, to a far away location. If I recall, when we were debugging, we stumbled upom some thread that suggested the cell was damaged.

So we moved out of said cell and avoided that area for some time.

Have you tried deleting the file of the cell it was crashing on?
