View Distance

Hello, me and my friend have been trying out this mod. So far we are loving it, but we're working on modding the game a little to make it look better and what have you. We have been trying to get the view distance to go up, but so far changing any settings is not changing the view distance. And I cannot seem to find anywhere online that explains how to do it, if it is possible.

I've tried edding the settings-default.cfg and changing those settings, but so far it's not changing anything.

It's possible that your regular settings.cfg located at C:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\OpenMW\settings.cfg is overriding those.

I've tried changing that and it doesn't seem to have changed anything. We are using MGE XE graphics improvement if that affects anything at all.

Can you please put your settings files on Pastebin so I can take a look at them?

It looks like I was able to get it fixed. Where it had the view distance, I had it set to 6666.0, as it had said that was the max. I didn't know I could put it up above that. Now that I did it's working fine.

I was under the impression MGE and such did not work with OpenMW?

yeah it doesn't seem to work for the multiplayer bit of it. My friend wanted to try it out. As far as I can tell it doesn't change much.
