Well, the best advice I can give you, is look at the vanilla files and see how they are coded.

Go to Steam/steamapps/common/Stellaris/common to see them. Events are not in the common folder, they are in the events folder.

Start to learn modding by looking at mod files under Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/281990

Or go the vanilla files in Steam/steamapps/common/Stellaris/common

Go to Stellaris launcher, under mods tab select “Mod Tools” in the top corner. The click “create mod”, under which you will put the name of the mod and directory (name it what you want).

It should say it created it. Now you will find a blank folder with the name of the directory under Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod/<directory of your mod>, where you will put the mod files.

Create a “common” folder and inside that a folder called “ascension_perks”, then make a txt file using notepad and name it whatever you want. This is where you start coding.

I haven’t made any ascension perks, so I am not sure, but just copy a vanilla one into the folder and change it’s name to something like ap_ship_cost_reduce. Under the line where it says modifiers, you will put in a specific line of code for reducing ship upkeep. Unfortunately someone else will have to tell you that modifier name.

Besides that, you need graphics and localization, which I can’t tell you how to do for APs, but I hope this helped somewhat.

What I am going to do is take Additional Traits, Svafa’s Traits, Neutraits, and possibly another and remove traits I don’t like or are duplicate, rebalance some traits, and competely change others.

I am making a merge mod because their are so many trait mods with too much overlap.

Whatever became of your old Cybertronic worlds mod, is it scrapped or something? Not like it matters to me because I don’t play robots, but I was curious.

Nvm, a lot of mods aren’t updated yet so I will wait.
