How can I make older skin works?

I got a old custom skin with custom header[imgur.com] for older version of metro skin, and I want this one directly inserted into latest metro skins with Unofficial patch 9, but I donno how. So I need you guy's help.

I want this skin updated badly, but Sadly, I'm pretty sure that skin maker won't update it.

I want to make header inserted, as well as its color scheme. and I also want to make game title goes to middle of window as older skin does.

Can you guys make that happen? or Tell me how to do it at least? (sorry if there's broken english, I'm bad at english)

Just checked this metro 3.0 unofficial remastered which looks more like a metro 4.1 or 4.0 with some small changes here and there(or probably a version of the unofficial patch).

You should give the latest metro + unofficial patch a try and then post here which parts from this version you want added as an extra. It would be faster this way.

I'll look into this. For the centered game title name there is an extra which also centers the play button, maybe you can use that. As for the color scheme im not sure how good it will work but you could try to apply the color.styles file from the older one in the latest version of metro + unoffficial patch.

Thanks for your kind advice, I tried as you say. I made game title centered, but overwriting color.styles from older skin makes texts unreadable. I did try to tweak, but It's just out of my hand. I can't figure out what causes an issue.

Probably some missing color variables cause the invisible text.You could try to edit only the stuff that it's not the same. I recommend using something like notepad++ or wordpad to open the text file.

Thanks, I fixed color scheme things. turns out, It was custom.styles that had to be fixed. well, I guess I'm going to wait extra to come out. Thanks for everything.
