Agreed !
Gigau i prepared a bit for meiou map, it is just iberia, maghreb, south france and parts of italy, but can u pls tell me if it works if u put it in your eu4 mod and if we cant do back and forth between trade nodes, lisboa cant get a own trade node, but yeah we can rename it.
Riga, Danzig, Lübeck were all just important ports competing with each other.
France doesn't have the worst trade node, Ming has that dubious honour considering Beijing only has trade going out and none coming in (there are a couple provinces like this, but none are capital regions at start). Your only real choice as China for trade is to move capital to Nanjing (to be fair Nanjing was the capital only a couple decades earlier).
Odd choice, especially considering the aim at trade being the motor for historical conquests and all. I guess i'd have at least one or two trade routes within China going to Beijing, possibly before going elsewhere... to invite a Chinese nation to more its capital to Beijing to control the Chinese trade.
Although i could be wrong, of course.
That is a map how far i am with trade nodes, all black stuff is added to trade nodes.
I think i will play a bit eu4 now and continue later.
That is the trade nodes file:
