What's your opinion on the Vita-Saw?

Because of the "recent" change to the Vita-Saw, this weapon is now my favourite melee for Medic. It feels fairer because of the organ mechanic instead of just giving you a passive advantage for 10 hp like it was before. Do you guys think it's now as good or better/worse than the Ubersaw?

I think it's worse. You didn't need to hit with it to gain uber before. The Ubersaw is about risking. The Vita-Saw was about the opposite. Now it's just like the Ubersaw but worse, as you have to risk the same but gain uber for later instead of for the moment.

I agree with that. I rather have Übercharge in my current life than on my death. Also the 10 HP less doesn't seem much but I often barely survived afterburn with 150 HP. With the Vita-Saw I would have been dead there.
But I think it's better than before. I main Medic but like many others I think the Übersaw needs a nerf. It's a direct upgrade for every medigun exept the vaccinator.

It's a plausible sidegrade, but it's not quite up there yet. I personally like it though. A few things to note, it will only save your uber if you died at or above the percentage equal to the number of organs you collected, otherwise it will save up to the number you collected. It will also take organs from disguised spies, as opposed to the ubersaw.

The concept is interesting, but its just too risky to execute and too low of a reward to even matter. The weapon Is just another case of technically good, but just not good enough.
