It actually worked pretty well; my only complaint about the Mad Cat is that while it is a Heavy system, it seems to fold up in fights against other Heavy Mechs by itself...or perhaps it's my fighting style.
I also have long range laser loadouts, as well as close range configurations using 4 Assault Lasers. I'm liking the Assault Laser loadout I've chosen since alot of my battles seem to be in-your-face.
Same number of weapons in the same places as the chasis model in the game. Thats the only reason I love this build, its functional, but it doesn't hold up well in the arena.
